✈ First Impressions

⚠ VISUAL: Alex is a tall gangley boy who is jock-passing. He has blue eyes and a brown-blonde spiky sort of hairstyle. On his hand are the remnants of a burn; it wraps around the base of his thumb, never reaching the rest of the hand. He has a small, jagged scar mostly covered by his hairline on the right side of his head.
⚠ FASHION: Here's a boy who loves layers of all kinds. He has jackets. He has jeans. Please understand, whatever clothing options we have, he will just get a bunch of layers.
⚠ DEMEANOUR: You know a tree, when it's straining and creaking and just about to snap but not quite there yet? The last few splinters that make or break its structural integrity? That's Alex. He's always on-edge, always alert, always waiting. For what? Something. Anything. Whatever could possibly come for him. He's a human nerve, on the edge of a cliff, about to fall.
⚠ AURAL: Here's a good showing of it, along with just...the crux of Alex as a person. Death-proofing a cabin, as you do. The actual talking isn't until 02:40. His voice is low and kind of rough and growl-y, but also gentle? Idk man, describing voices.
⚠ OLFACTORY: FEAR and sweat, do you know how much this boy sweats,
⚠ MENTAL INFORMATION: Surface thoughts, all focused on the immediate dangers around him. And by "dangers" I mean anything that could be conceived as danger. Just 101 Ways To Die in your own home. If you're able to dig deeper, there's the complete recreation of experiencing a plane exploding on takeoff. ...Fun.
⚠ MAGICAL INFORMATION: ...Uhhhh I don't know if this counts as "magical" but Alex has some clairvoyant abilities. "how can you not know-" we don't get an explanation- Look, just think of it as super paranoia but sometimes he's right.

⚠ BACKTAGGING: I backtag! In murdergames I tend to go up to two weeks back, but if I ever drop something you want to continue, please let me know!
⚠ FOURTHWALLING: Don't tell him he's fictional. But like... I don't know, talk to me. I'm okay with the concept of it.
⚠ PHYSICAL AFFECTION: Hit me with it! Alex isn't really opposed to physical affection, but he's also...a teenage boy in the very early aughties, he's got some ideas of what a boy is supposed to do and not do. That said, go wild. Hug him, nudge him, ruffle his hair. Ask about like, kisses, but everything else is fair game.
⚠ PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: Please fight Alex. He can and will tackle you, at the worst possible time, because he's just like that. He's a punchy boy.
⚠ RELATIONSHIPS: Alex is very devoted to One Girl. If you are not that girl, he's not going to look at you in that way. I'm always open to discussing things, but I'm just saying, it's not likely.
⚠ PLAYER PERMISSIONS: I have a few issues I would like to be careful about in RP. I would appreciate discussions of sexual abuse or rape be avoided in threads with me or discussed prior. If those could also be marked in general, that would be very appreciated, as I like to read other people's threads. Similarly, if fingore could be marked, and to a lesser extent, suicide warned for. ✈ Permissions

⚠ GORE: First and foremost, Alex tends to reflect on his life and all the horrible things that have happened in it often. This includes descriptions of gore, up to and including physical trauma from bus crashes, excessive bleeding, partial decapitation, blunt force trauma on a massive level, lethal head trauma, and burns, electrical or otherwise. ...Basically if you've got problems with gore descriptions, please let me know which ones to specifically avoid. Does head trauma squick you? Crushed limbs not your forte? Putting a ban on burns? Even if it's not mentioned here, please let me know, because the way his mind goes, he tends to spiral off in a lot of directions on How You Could Die.
⚠ SUICIDAL IDEATION: I tag for it but like. Alex is the type of kid who doesn't want to die but would trade his life for someone else's in a heartbeat. Considering the things he's experienced, that can get pretty heavy and existential. On that note, are you okay with this boy trying to die on your behalf? Because ALEX WILL NOW DIE FOR YOU is a given with any bit of CR. Yes. Even in a murdergame.
⚠ NERVE DAMAGE/HAND TRAUMA: Alex is working with some peripheral nerve damage in his hands. It's not extreme, but in times of intense stress they may start shaking uncontrollably. Other side-effects include temporary loss of feeling, problems with balance and coordination, and difficulty processing, conversing, and remembering. If you'd like not to play with any part of that, that's a-okay! Let me know here.
